Disarmament and International Security Committee

As the first committee of the United Nations, the Disarmament and International Security Committee has been at the forefront of every international dispute since 1945.  As tensions rise and weapon potency increases, DISEC will prove invaluable in the creation of frameworks and treaties that advocate peace and global cooperation. Delegates in this committee will be faced with issues so daunting that current world leaders have not yet been able to solve them, but with thorough research and the right diplomatic skills, disarmament is possible.
